TELLURIDE. A sophisticated yet casual hangout for folks staying in Mountain Village, the Bar at 9545 can be found in the exclusive Inn at Lost Creek. After a day on the slopes, people gather to swap war stories and toast their exploits. Premium wines and draft beers are always on the slate, and the bar staff can mix up your favorite cocktail too. If food is in order, the menu includes both appetizers and entrees – all of the same fine quality as at award-winning 9545 Restaurant. During warmer months, the bar's deck is a popular place to watch the sun go down and enjoy the surrounding landscape.

Bluepoint Grill and Noir Bar

TELLURIDE. A popular place to meet friends for après-ski stories and drinks, Noir Bar occupies the lower level of ever-popular Bluepoint, located just a few strides from the base of the Gondola. Swank and sophisticated, the bar features comfortable leather sofas, velvet booths, a fireplace, and some of Southeastern Colorado's most expertly-mixed martinis. A terrific wine list and a delicious menu (a word to the wise: fresh oysters are never a bad choice) join a great repertoire of live music to make this one of Telluride's true scenes.

TELLURIDE. One of the best places to catch live music in Southern Colorado, the spacious Moon attracts locals and tourists alike. Terrific live bands are featured several nights a week, and music ranges from classic rock-n-roll to tunes that make you want to get your groove on. The dance floor welcomes all, and the sound system is guaranteed to leave your ears ringing the next day. The Moon gets particularly energized during the ski season, so be sure to pack club wear along with mittens and stocking caps.

New Sheridan Chop House and Bar
233 W Colorado Ave, New Sheridan Hotel, Telluride, CO 81435 · 970-728-9100
Dress: BCBC: Business Casual
TELLURIDE. Located in the upscale New Sheridan Hotel, this bar offers a genteel setting where patrons can warm themselves after a day on the slopes with an expertly mixed cocktail or a glass of wine. As with most things done right the first time, the Sheridan Bar has changed little since it opened in 1895 – it still features mahogany paneling, a hand-carved bar, and intricately-designed light fixtures. If you're feeling a tad active, the bar also features a billiards table.

Smuggler's Brewpub
225 S Pine, Telluride, CO 81435 · 970-728-0919
Dress: CC: Casual
TELLURIDE. Located at the corner of Pine and San Juan, Telluride's most popular (in fact, its only) microbrewery is no slouch when it comes to handcrafting frosty quaffs and serving tasty pub grub. Indeed, few things equal pairing your favorite ale or porter with baby back ribs, a steak, or a juicy Mountain Burger topped with cheddar, Canadian bacon, and BBQ sauce. If you're looking for something non-alcoholic, Smuggler's homemade root beer and cream soda have their own devotees. A great place to gather with friends or family at the close of the day.

The Cornerhouse Grille
131 N Fir St, Telluride, CO 81435 · 970-728-6207
TELLURIDE. This quaint house, hidden away on a side-street off Colorado Avenue, offers a casual, laid-back setting for folks on a quest for tasty burgers or sandwiches and good, old-fashioned ales. Kids are welcome, and there's plenty to divert their attention, including TVs and board games. Make no mistake, though: The quirky joint is still a watering hole at heart, a fact that's especially apparent when a big game is broadcast on the tube. A word to the wise: If tater-tots can be local legends, theirs certainly fit the bill.

The Last Dollar Saloon
100 E Colorado, Telluride, CO 81435 · 970-728-4800
Dress: CC: Casual
TELLURIDE. Regulars call this rustic watering hole "the Buck," and its look and feel certainly qualify it as a local hangout. Ice-cold brews are the beverages of choice, and the taps flow freely and frequently into the night, especially during peak ski season. Don't expect much in the way of snappy decor or hackneyed themes, because the Buck is as "bar" as they come, from dart boards and crowded pool tables down to pitchers – that's right, pitchers! – of beer. Tables up front look out over Main Street, making for great people-watching.

O'Bannons
Address: Find it by the smell of whiskey (ask a local)

TELLURIDE. Regulars drink until the fall over, visitors dare to enter. Drunken stuper! Do you want to forget your life, your EX or need to get away from real life, go here. Pool tables and ROLL-the-DICE drink specials/bets.  Drink a car bomb, then follow it with tequila, tomorrow is days away. Start at noon, you will be a local by midnight. Just south of Telluride Sports, basement next to Baked in Telluride. Hangovers will occur.

MOUNTAIN VILLAGE. Located at the Base of Lift 4 in Mountain Village. Great Lunch food. Fun Apres Ski bar scene. Locals drink hard at lunch, visitors are amazed at the locals tolerance. Foosball table and tournaments.  Bartenders are fun. Locals fired from jobs, leave their name tags on the walls.  Go eat lunch, get hammered and go skiing, its fun. Rustic!

The Brown Dog

Telluride Blues and Brews (event below only during BB festival nights)

Juke Joints, After Hours Jam, Fais Do Do & Bal de Maison

Juke Joints
After the festival ends in Town Park , we continue the music at 10PM on Friday and Saturday night at the "juke joints", located in various venues in Telluride and Mountain Village. If you purchase a juke joint pass it allows you to bounce around to all the juke joints. Be aware, however, that a juke joint pass does not guarantee that you will get into the show of your choice, but it does guarantee that you will get into one of the juke joints - it all depends on the capacity of each venue. As they fill up, we direct you to which juke joints are not full. As the night goes on, the crowds at the juke joints tend to rotate, so even if you can't catch the start of the band you want to see, there's a good chance you can catch the last half of their show. So, if there is one particular band you really want to see, get in line early for the show! Doors open at 9:45PM. The VIP 3 Day Pass includes entry into the juke joints (but not the After Hours Jam on Saturday night or the Fais Do Do show on Sunday night). Doors open at 9:30PM for VIP pass holders.   The juke joint venues are all ages, with the exception of Fly Me to the Moon Saloon - 21 and over only.

After Hours Jam
The After Hours Jam takes place on Saturday night from 2:00AM - 4:00AM in one of the juke joint venues. Please note that we clear out the venue before the start of the After Hours Jam. A juke joint pass or VIP pass does not include entry into this show. Tickets to the After Hours Jam are only sold at the door.

Fais Do Do
The Fais Do Do (pronounced fay dough dough ) takes place on Sunday at 10:00PM at the Sheridan Opera House. Call it a closing party. Tickets for this show are extremely limited and go on sale June 1. A juke joint pass or VIP pass does not include entry into this show.

Bal de Maison - New Event
The Bal de Maison (a Cajun house party) takes place on Thursday at 10:00PM at the Fly Me to the Moon Saloon. Call it an opening party. Tickets for this show are extremely limited and go on sale June 25. A juke joint pass or VIP pass does not include entry into this show.
